Release Date: June 17, 2014

Series: The Grisha #3

The capital has fallen. The Darkling rules Ravka from his shadow throne.

Now the nation’s fate rests with a broken Sun Summoner, a disgraced tracker, and the shattered remnants of a once-great magical army.

Deep in an ancient network of tunnels and caverns, a weakened Alina must submit to the dubious protection of the Apparat and the zealots who worship her as a Saint. Yet her plans lie elsewhere, with the hunt for the elusive firebird and the hope that an outlaw prince still survives.

Why I’m waiting:

I love this series and I can’t wait for the final book!  I really love the setting of these books.  It’s fantasy meets Russia and it’s so unique.

Savage Drift by Emmy Laybourne

Release Date: May 6, 2014

Series: Monument 14 #3

Short, Sweet and Spoiler-Free Blurb:

The stunningly fierce conclusion to Emmy Laybourne’s Monument 14 trilogy.

The survivors of the Monument 14 have finally made it to the safety of a Canadian refugee camp. Dean and Alex are cautiously starting to hope that a happy ending might be possible.

But for Josie, separated from the group and trapped in a brutal prison camp for exposed Type Os, things have gone from bad to worse. Traumatized by her experiences, she has given up all hope of rescue or safety.

Why I’m waiting:

I love this dystopian series.  It’s set while the world is ending, which is really interesting to read about but my favorite thing about this series are the characters.  Emmy Laybourne does an amazing job writing really interesting characters.  I loved Monument 14 and  Sky on Fire and I’m excited to see how the series ends!

I loved the romance and the characters from the first book, Let the Sky Fall.  It was told from the boy’s and the girl’s point of view and it was so well done!  I need to know what happens next to them!

Dangerous

Dangerous by Shannon Hale

Release Date: March 4, 2014

Short, Sweet and Spoiler-Free Blurb:

Maisie Danger Brown just wanted to get away from home for a bit, see something new. She never intended to fall in love. And she never imagined stumbling into a frightening plot that kills her friends and just might kill her, too. A plot that is already changing life on Earth as we know it. There’s no going back. She is the only thing standing between danger and annihilation.

From NY Times bestselling author Shannon Hale comes a novel that asks, How far would you go to save the ones you love? And how far would you go to save everyone else?

Why I’m waiting:

It’s a sci-fi novel about a girl! And by Shannon Hale!  Shannon has beautiful writing and she’s also very funny and witty.  I can’t wait to read this one!  Also the cover is really cool.  I like the purple design thingy.
